Celestia is an excellent space-travel simulator which allows you to visit not only the objects in the Solar System but also journey out to the stars and beyond the Galaxy.
All movement in Celestia is seamless; the exponential zoom feature lets you explore space across a huge range of scales, from galaxy clusters down to spacecraft only a few metres across. A 'point-and-goto' interface makes it simple to navigate through the Universe to the object you want to visit.
This software is highly recommended for enhancing your discussions about astronomical objects and distances in the Universe.
