What I have chosen to name the "Relativistic Longitudinal Gauge" was discovered in the course of doing my PhD thesis in the Physics Department of Macquarie University-Sydney, Australia. I am very grateful to my former thesis advisor, Associate Professor John V. Corbett (in the Mathematics Department), for allowing me to explore my personal research ideas under his mentorship.
A copy of my Ph.D. thesis entitled "Investigation of the Uniqueness Properties of Classical Four-Vector Fields in Euclidean and Minkowski Spaces" is on file at Macquarie University library and is Copyright 1998 by Dale Alan Woodside and Macquarie University, all rights reserved.
Note, all of the essential material from my Ph.D. thesis is contained in the two articles in J. Math. Phys. quoted below (and available here online as preprints).

Continuing Research on the Relativistic Longitudinal Gauge Four-Vector Fields:
My current research aims to develop further the relativistic longitudinal gauge, particularly in the context of canonical quantum field theory. A detailed summary of this research is available for public comment in the following research proposal: (Copyright 1999, 2000 by Dale Alan Woodside, all rights reserved.)
