Current work includes:

• AAO/UKST H-alpha survey. Following-up discoveries from the Macquarie/AAO/Strasbourg catalogue of Planetary Nebula. Deep narrow-band imaging of the Large Magellanic Cloud. The AAO/UKST 6dF Galaxy redshift survey (Contact A/Prof Quentin Parker)
• Molecular winds around young stars. Chemical reactions occurring in interstellar clouds. Shock waves in interstellar clouds (Contact Prof Mark Wardle)
• Studies of pulsars, active stars, interacting galaxies and elliptical galaxies. Sky surveys. Measurement of 100yr old astronomical plates (Contact Dr Alan Vaughan)
