1 - 4 December 2008 You are invited to participate in the annual "Live Cell Imaging Workshop 2008; and the joint celebration for the re-opening of the Monash Mirco Imaging Centre, to be held in Clayton, Victoria from 1 - 4 December 2008. The Live Cell Imaging Workshop 2008 includes theory and hands on practical experience using optical microscopes with fluorescence, confocal and muliphoton microscopy. This workshop also incorporates a seminar jointly presented by FABLS and the MMI, featuring Prof. Daniel Axelrod, on 1 December 2008.

The Congress will bring together physicists from around Australia and internationally. Plenary and keynote lectures by world-leading researchers, both national and international, will ensure a vibrant and exciting program. To celebrate this occasion, we would like to invite you to a 3-day symposium that will include the official Golden Jubilee Luncheon in the Great Hall of the University of Sydney on 4 December 2008. We look forward to welcoming you to collaborate with like-minded colleagues, learn from international and Australian experts in the field and engage with the microscopists of the future. An exciting program of innovative presentations, both oral and in poster form, will cover a wide range of microscopy and microanalysis fields. We would like to invite you to be a part of this important event. Poster contributions are welcome from all participants. Please note all oral presentations are invited and we are not requesting oral contributions.

26 - 29 July 2009 You are invited to join us at the forthcoming Molecular Modelling (MM2009) meeting, which will be held at the Mantra Legends Hotel, Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise), Queensland, Australia from the 26th to 29th July, 2009. The meeting will focus on the latest developments in molecular modelling in both the life sciences and materials sciences, particularly in the areas of Methodology Development; Drug Design; Materials & Nanotechnology; Dynamics & Chemical Reactivity; Self Assembly & Biomolecular Simulations; and Sustainable Energy & Environment. MM2009 is held under the auspices of the Association of Molecular Modellers of Australasia (AMMA), the Asia/Pacific Chapter of the Molecular Graphics and Modelling Society (MGMS). Part of the charter of this organization is to present a series of national meetings, held annually, to serve the modelling community within the Australasia region.
