Business Participation

 

Business and industry are encouraged to participate in the Light in Life Sciences Conference 2009, just as they have participated and been actively involved in the FABLS Network over the past 5 years.

As well as registering to attend the conference, a number of options are available to business participants, including sponsorship of the LILS 2009 Conference (available at differing levels of support) and also an Exhibition Booth option. Please see below for more details.

The Conference will be held at the recently renovated Sebel Albert Park Hotel, 5 mins from the CBD in Melbourne, Australia. With stunning views overlooking Albert Park Lake, this venue provides the ideal setting for a conference as it is versatile, elegant and flooded with natural light. The Industrial Exhibition will be held in an open foyer, from where the catering stations for breaks and lunch will be operated. The poster sessions will also take place in this open plan area.

Option 6: Conference Program Advertising

Advertising is available in the Conference Program and Abstract book and all artwork is to be supplied by the advertiser. Advertisers are to provide copy electronically.

  • Full A4 Page = $1100 inc.
  • Half A4 Page = $550 inc. GST
  • Quarter A4 Page = $220 inc. GST
  • Conference Satchel inserts - $550 inc. GST

Option 7: Poster Prize Sponsorship

Poster Awards are also available for sponsorship at a minimum of $500.
Poster prizes can be named by the sponsor and awarded by them if desired. Our judging panel will gladly assist in selecting prize winners as well as providing judges to award the prize on the company’s behalf. We would like to offer 3 poster prizes.

Option 8: Educational Bursary

Educational bursaries are also available, where sponsors would cover the cost of a postgraduate student to attend the conference. For more information regarding this option and the Poster Prize option, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
